Jennifer Harris, PharmD

CEO

Jennifer Harris is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Golgi, where she leads the development and execution of Golgi-CONNECT.   She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina.  Jennifer has dedicated her career to advancing development of novel therapies for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases.  She has worked in direct patient care and research roles at Duke University Cancer Center, UNC-Chapel Hill where she focused on pediatric oncology and at the National Institutes of Health where she was involved with the intramural NCI programs at the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland.  She later transitioned her career into the pharmaceutical industry where she contributed to the development of novel therapies including Tykerb at GSK, Provenge at Dendreon and Keytruda at Merck.   Jennifer has held positions in clinical development and medical affairs and understands that strong relationships with health care professionals who are on the front lines of patient care is critical to the success of drug development and improved patient outcomes.  The process of identifying and connecting with busy health care professionals is a significant challenge and Jennifer recognized that a streamlined and focused approach for identifying areas of mutual interest between health care professionals and pharma companies is an area of substantial unmet need.  Jennifer conceptualized the idea of Golgi-CONNECT based on software solutions in other industries that are based on precise matching algorithms. Her goal is to save time and effort which will ultimately result in better opportunities and outcomes for patients, including those in underserved communities.
